Happy 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July, filled with lots of fun activities. We started our day with a nice walk around our neighborhood. Tim and Kaleb threw snaps and lit snakes, Kaleb loved that. Then later on in the day we went to our friends house for a BBQ and swimming. It was fun but very hot and Tim and I were looking forward to the food at The American BBQ at Pacana park in Maricopa. They had lots of fun things for kids to do!! Kaleb almost ate a whole hot dog, bun and all.  Considering it was 105 degrees outside my pregnant self didn't last too long but it was fun. By the end of the day Kaleb had a great 4th of July and thats all that really matters to Tim and I. It's hard to think next year we will have a 9 month old Sydney girl celebrating with us. Maybe we should go and visit someone where it isn't too hot, maybe like South Carolina! Then atleast maybe we can be able to relax and watch the fireworks. Oh well Kaleb is still too young and wouldn't be able to last until 9:30 at night anyway. We hope you all had a wonderful 4th, filled with BBQ and firworks... We love you!

Kaleb and his Powerwheel!

Kaleb's Uncle Paul and Aunt Jen got him a Diego Powerwheel for christmas. He loves it! Tim took him in the backyard this weekend for a ride. We have no landscape so we are rarely out there but kinda looks like the natural desert. He love driving it through our huge weeds back there... what an adventure!! We can't wait until he has a real backyard to play in but till then I think he's fine with what he has. :) I also added a few of him playing with his cars. This is what he's does the other 85% of his time when he's not "outside". Love you all.

Photo shoot with Kaleb!

Everyone has been asking me to take some shots of Kaleb. So this weekend Tim nd I tried and everytime we put him on the backdrop he would run away. We did end up getting some even though I'm not completely happy with them. There are a couple of Tim trying to get him interested that are pretty funny. I did get one good one of the two of them though. We will be trying again this weekend so I can get a great 2nd birthday shot! Enjoy!!!

My new car!!!

So, Tim and I finally decided to get a new car since Kaleb is getting big and will be a big brother soon. We knew that we wanted to get something that wasn't too large. The Saturn VUE seemed like the best deal and it come with quite a few extra's. It's also charcoal gray which we both love. It was a long day (those of you that have purchased a vehicle know this) and by the time we got back to my mom's around 9:00pm Kaleb was a sleep. Tim and I woke him and took out to see the car and he smiled so big and said loudly "CAR!" He stayed awake pretty much the whole ride home. From Cave creek to Maricopa it probably took an hour. It was a long day but well worth it. We know have plenty of room for Kaleb, Sydney and us parents!

20 weeks almost 21!!

This is mainly for my sisters Miriam and Doranna that lives in South Carolina and Alabama but I thought most of you would enjoy my growing belly too. I miss you sisters and your beautiful babies (and my brothers)!! I hope this helps, I know you both wanted to see pictures :) We love you!! Oh and I couldn't help but throwing in a picture of my cutie pie for good measure!

A day at the splash pad.

Tim and I took Kaleb to the splash pad by our house on Sunday. We had a wonderful time even though it was pretty HOT outside, But to a child they really don't care do they!! Tim and I just want to soak him all in ( no pun intended) before he will be fighhting for attention once his Sydney gets here. (for some reason I don't think he will have to fight too much!) Kaleb is getting so big. It's hard for me to come to terms that he is not my baby anymore but my BIG boy. Everyday he says something new that makes me laugh. I am so lucky to be able to stay at home with him and watch him grow. His 2nd birthday is  in a little over a month, unbelievable!!

Daddy and Kaleb playing around.

My handsome boys.

 In Kaleb words "CAR"!!

                              High five!
